For the school year 2008-2009 a total of 60 students were assisted with tuition.
The first phase of his land distribution program has been completed by the
Hon. Pablo Marin. In the first phase 150 Corozal residents received a lease
for their lots on 9 November, 2010. The Deputy Prime Minister, Hon.Gaspar Vega,
participated in this distribution.

Residents of the Corozal Bay area who are presently renting and have children are being asked to fill out a land application form at the UDP office located on Fourth Avenue, north of 2nd street north.
Hon. Pablo Marin, along with the Corozal Sports Council, provided football training for kids at the Civic Center in the summer of 2009. Kids aged 7-15 participated.
René Pérez, Sports Coordinator for Corozal, said the training was done by Rogelio P. Barahona, a former professional football player with the La Victoria team of Corozal. He taigjt kids about football technique like how to kick the ball, stop the ball, and pass the ball. They did more than just kicking the ball around.
When school starts the Ministry of Health will be providing nutritional information for children in the primary schools. Participating in these programs will be Leroy Morgan, with the Corozal Hospital dietary department, along with a registered dietician from Belize City.
